2014 New BMW 4 Series Coupe starts at a new BMW coupe era, the new middle-class coupe will be clearly different from the sedan than before.
The new BMW 4 Series Coupe is the successor of the 3 Series Coupé and the first time positioned as a separate series. At first glance, the relationship is the BMW 3-series instantly recognizable, yet the styling has become more dynamic and follows the requirements of a classic coupé.
Compared to the BMW 3 Series Coupe, the 4-coupe has grown visibly in width and wheelbase and is now fuller on the road. The stretched coupé silhouette also runs significantly flatter than the sedan, and emphasizes the horizontal lines at the rear design brings wide stance and muscular wheel arches look even better.
For the 4-Coupe will also be offered even more premium features that are not available for the sedan, such as the optional full-LED headlights.
The interior of the coupé is the design almost identical to the sedan, only at the rear to underline the sporty character of the contoured seats coupe. For the first time, three different trim levels for the coupe are available, on request, the customer, the Sport Line, Modern Line and select the Luxury Line, in addition also an M Sports package is available.
But the new 4 Coupe is said to have risen even when the dynamics again. Even better driving dynamics, a more balanced weight distribution (50:50), a lightweight concept, precise steering and improved agility will significantly increase the driving fun.
To start, the BMW 4-Coupe and 420d Coupe, the 435i Coupe and the 428i Coupe be available, thus extends the power range of 184 hp (135 kW) in the diesel up to 306 hp (225 kW) in the 435i. All models are also equipped with the BMW EfficientDynamics ingredients that are designed to provide more efficient use of gasoline and diesel.
Switch is fitted as standard with a manual six-speed gearbox, on request, an 8-speed automatic transmission for all models is available. Right at the start, the two petrol engines will be available with the optional xDrive all-wheel drive, making the elegant coupe is recommended as an ideal winter car.
Also available on request are the new BMW ConnectedDrive infotainment system, the BMW Head-Up Display, the Driving Assistant Plus, a non-glare LED high beam assist, adaptive cruise control and a navigation system with 3D map display.
The market launch of the BMW 4-Coupe is scheduled for October 2013.
