First photos and official name for the Japanese crossover coupe style
Mitsubishi's new compact SUV that will be unveiled at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show (9-19 March 2017) is called 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross, a double name that pays tribute to the Eclipse coupe was born in 1989 and the crowded crossover market in which you will place in coming months.
The first teaser images that accompany the official announcement of the name show us a modern and clearly derived from the latest innovations such as Mitsubishi ASX facelift and the Outlander, with forms designed to challenge the various Toyota C-HR, Honda HR-V and Nissan Qashqai, to name a few. To know all the other details of the 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross, engines and specifications will be necessary to await the Geneva event.
The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross 2018 is deliberately created by mixing the design of an SUV with that of a coupe, as evidenced by the lateral limits of the roof, the sleek line of the glazing and body folds on the doors that go by the handles to the rear lights. The latter follow a "bridge" trend to offer a bright signature characteristic of the whole tail, while the front fielding a complex lights created by horizontal and vertical lights around a sharp calender. Even the special metallic color red was chosen to emphasize the strength of its Eclipse Cross.
