2018 Mercedes-AMG E63 4MATIC+ station wagon version
The main news expected from Mercedes-AMG for the Geneva Motor Show (7-19 March 2017), will be the 2018 Mercedes-AMG E63 4MATIC+ station wagon version, that is the fastest model and performance from those available for the E-Class family.

The car incorporates all the main elements of the sedan, including of course the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 (hand-built), which is the main equipment of this construction is a 4.0 direct injection, produces 603 horsepower from 5,750 to 6,500 rpm and 627 pound-feet of torque from 2,500 to 4,500 rpm. The engine is combined in either case the nine-speed automatic transmission "MCT", updated in the software to respond to the car's sporty character. Acceleration the combination is good for a 3.4-second 0-to-60 time and an electronically limited 180mph top speed.

The AMG E63 4MATIC+ Wagon remains however a car practical and very usable, as evidenced by the solutions adopted for the load compartment: the sofa can be folded in the diagram 40:20:40 and can also vary in inclination, taking a position more vertical of 10 degrees, so as to free necessary 30 liters of load. The volume of the luggage compartment ranges from 640 to 1,820 liters. The engineers at Mercedes-AMG have intervened then to the aesthetics and have expanded by 2.7 cm the car body level, as a result of the increased roadways, redesigning the bumper in order to increase air flow to the engine and brakes.
