The All-New 2018 Chevrolet Equinox with a length of almost 4.80 meters is the new compact SUV from Chevrolet.
Exterior, Chevy Equinox has become much more modern. On the front, there are standard LED daytime running lights, higher equipment variants are also equipped with this light technology at the rear. In addition, the engineers were able to ease the SUV by 180 kilograms, which should result in more dynamism and less fuel consumption. Three turbo engines
The Equinox will be available with three turbo engines: a 1.5-liter-turbo and a 2.0-liter-turbo as well as a 1.6-liter turbo-diesel engine. The latter is the first in the segment of compact SUVs for North America. An all-wheel drive, which automatically turns off when the vehicle is not used, and which only drives the front wheels, should also press the average consumption.More assistants, more infotainment
Except with new engines and a more attractive look, Chevrolet equips the Equinox with several safety systems. These include an emergency brake assistant, a tracking assistant and a blind spot warning system. In the infotainment system, the Americans rely on a solution with smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay or Android car. In addition, a WLAN hotspot provides the devices of the vehicle occupants with an Internet connection.
