BMW is launching the new edition of the 2013 BMW M6 Coupe and Convertible. The high revving 4.4 liter V8 engine with twin-power turbo technology has an output of 412 kW / 560 hp at 6,000 to 7,000 revolutions per minute. The maximum torque of 680 Nm is available from 1500 rpm available.
The BMW M6 Coupe consumes 9.9 liters per 100 kilometers and the Cabriolet 10.3 liters of fuel (according to EU standard). The M6 Coupe accelerates in 4.2 seconds from zero to 100 km / h, the Cabriolet required for 4.3 seconds. Up to 200 km / h, it creates within the coupe of 12.6 seconds (Convertible: 13.1). The electronically limited top speed of 250 km / h (305 km / h with M Driver's Package).
The power transmission is ensured by a seven-speed double clutch transmission Drivelogic with automatic traction-optimized gear selection, launch control and low-speed assistance.
The special body features of the M-versions include the three-piece lower air intake with aerodynamically optimized flap, the new M-Radiator grille with black double rods, flared wheel arches, and the typical gills with integrated turn signal bars, aerodynamic side mirrors and side skirts and an aerodynamic optimized rear apron with diffuser between the right and left mounted twin tailpipes of the exhaust system. This standard feature 19-inch and optional 20-inch forged alloy wheels, each with independent interpretation of the typical M double spoke design.
